(October 15th, 2005)The Arizona Caliente headed to California to face their long time rivals the Long Beach Aftershock. The Caliente dominated defensively and connected offensively to take the win. First points were scored by #33 Calusine on a 37 yard run with 11:41 left in the first quarter, but the Caliente would score again quickly during the next series as well as #10 Corbett (LB) Intercepted the ball during the Aftershock's 2nd down and ran it back for the TD at 10:19. Additional points for the Caliente came from a 25 yard pass from #10 Corbett (QB) to #23 Moore, a 13 yard run from #33 Calusine and an 8 yard run by #42 Belliard while the defense held the Aftershock scoreless.

The Caliente were first to put points on the board as #33 JC Calusine ran in the TD and the extra 2 at 5:36 left in the first quarter. The team led for most of the game, but the determined Amazons scored on a 36 yard run from #21 Guidry with just over 3:30 left in the game holding on to take the win and keep their potential playoff hopes alive.
