Caliente 6 - California Quake 19

Though the final score does not reflect how equally matched these 2 team were, the first half, in which both teams were held scoreless, does. The Quake, however, were able to take over, dominating the second half, and walked away with the well deserved win.

The Caliente lost their last game's Defensive Player of the Game (#1 Thomas) to a minor concussion early in the first quarter, and her presence was missed. That, unfortunately, was not the only injury incurred by the Caliente, as standout running back #19 Winter Barry suffered a broken wrist while trying to run in the 2 point conversion following her TD in the fourth quarter.
