The Caliente prove they are too hot for the visiting Vixen.
Defensively Arizona was able to control the Vixen, with outstanding performance by # 1 Carrie "Little Bit" Thomas, who was named Defensive Player of the Game, and # 80 Kasandra Davis who was key in tipping the ball away from the intended receiver on multiple long throws by the Vixen.

Offensively the Caliente delivered as well. The Vixen came out strong, and their experience in hitting was felt by the Caliente Offensive as the Vixen racked up the tackles. Best put by Caliente QB #10 Kim Corbett, "They just really hit hard."

Corbett, up for the intense hitting, was named Caliente Offensive Player of the Game. The Caliente running game was highlighted by a 47 yard run by # 19 Winter Barry during the mid 3rd Quarter that sparked the Caliente's second score of the game, which would be enough to clinch the win.
