The Arizona Caliente welcomed their newest player today, Hiroko "Betty" Suzuki. Suzuki had been recruited by the Arizona Caliente after the WAFL Las Vegas All Star Game, and joins the Caliente as an experience full-contact player.

Suzuki has been a player with the Tokyo Lady Kong in Japan for a number of years, and played in the United States last year on the WPFL's former Daytona Beach Barracuda team.

"She brings with her a level of play that will elevate the talent that we have locally," said Caliente General Manager Jennifer Cada. "We are very excited to have an experienced player of her caliber join the team.",
