The Arizona Caliente women's football team has signed with North High School in Phoenix as their home field for the Fall 2002 Season. The Caliente played their Inaugural Season at North High School (1101 E. Thomas Road), and were delighted to announce that they will remain at the venue for their upcoming season.

The team had looked into playing in a larger venue, such as a Community College Stadium, but with the timing of their season, stadium availability conflicted with most of the Colleges own football programs. There had also been discussion of the team playing in multiple locations, but having one field to call home was the team's ultimate decision.

Jennifer Cada, Owner/General Manager of the Caliente said of North High School, noting its proximity to downtown Phoenix AWA and BOB, "It's just such a great central location. We have players from all across the Valley, and while we looked into other facilities, North just has the best location for us."

Cada said, "The staff at North High School was also very supportive in our first season. We really appreciated that and are looking forward to working with them again."

The Caliente's first home game is scheduled for Saturday, September 14th at 7:05pm where they will face the Oakland Banshees.
